4-H Educational Travel Opportunities

Did you know that 4-H offers amazing educational travel opportunities for youth in grades 6-13 (and adult leaders) to experience the world beyond Fond du Lac county? From a statewide conference at UW-Madison to a trip to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, there’s an opportunity for you! Fond du Lac County 4-H also offers New Horizons, an out-of-state community service leadership experience for youth in grades 8-12.

If you are interested in one of these experiences and are interested in receiving funding to help support your experience, apply for funding from the Fond du Lac County 4-H Adult Leaders Association! Completed applications must be submitted to the UW-Extension Office by September 15th.  Click here for the application. Applicants will have the option to interview on Tuesday, September 25th or Saturday, September 29th.

In order to attend an educational travel experience (besides New Horizons) you must register via 4HOnline. Participants will be randomly selected if more register than there are spots in an effort to make things more equitable. If you are selected for funding (based on your application and interview), but do not register via 4HOnline and get a spot, you will not be able to attend the experience.
