IMG_4-H KidsLearn about upcoming events for 4-H members to participate in.  All 4-H activities and events are purposefully created to provide opportunities for youth to learn leadership, citizenship, and life skills.  They are also geared towards meeting the interests and needs of 4-H families throughout the county.

Fond du Lac County 4-H Events

Writing Contest This contest is open to all 4-H members who are passionate about writing, are creative, and/or want to improve their writing skills.  Youth have the opportunity to submit an essay or a poem about any topic they choose. Deadline for submitting entries is December 12, 2014.  See the November 4-H newsletter for details.

Club Officer Workshop
  • Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, 9:30 am to 12:00 pm at UW-Fond du Lac

 

 

Drawing Contest Throughout the 4-H year we produce booklets, such as the program for Achievement Night, Leader Banquet, the Enrollment Guide and Music and Drama Festival.  Because there are many talented members, we are inviting you to submit your artwork to be used for these and other covers during the upcoming year.This is open to all 4-H members, not just those in art or drawing projects.  Any member, age 5 to 19, may submit entries.  The entry must be on a white sheet of paper 8½” x 11″.  It needs to be done in black ink or black marker.  The artwork should be original.  Be sure to sign your work.  You may send in as many entries as you would like.  Any type of design is acceptable. It is okay to fold it.  Include your name, club, current age and address with the entry.  Winning entries will receive a $10 gift certificate and the honor of having your artwork printed for public viewing.Mail entries to the 4-H Office by Sept. 30.
