IGNITE! Business Success has 15 grants of $2000 to give to people starting or growing businesses less than 2 years old. Diana met with seven individuals working on business plans this month: identifying customers, referral sources, pricing strategies, licensing and permitting needs, and suitable space. Five of these entrepreneurs are most comfortable in Spanish and Diana is their main contact to the other partners’ expertise in IGNITE! Diana is also making in-person visits to minority-owned businesses in the county to invite them to the free Business Model Canvas workshop IGNITE! is teaching in both Fond du Lac and Waupun in August with Spanish interpretation.
